Puerto Rico: The All-Star Island!

Located in the heart of the Caribbean Sea, Puerto Rico is true tropical paradise. This manageable, medium sized-island is actually part of the United States, so US citizens don’t even need a passport to visit, they can just book a ticket and boom! There in a few hours plane ride from the east coast.

Puerto Rico was one of the first places Christopher Columbus visited on his journey to the new world in 1493. It was originally inhabited by the Taino people who eventually mixed with the Spanish and the modern day Puerto Ricans are what is the result!

Puerto Rico is a five-star vacation destination with a wealth of amazing things to do. Noted above, Puerto Rico’s history is truly  a reason to visit on its own. Stroll the streets of Old San Juan and get taken back in time to the 16th century and imagine Spanish conquistadors clad in armor trotting up the streets on gallant steeds. Dine in one of the fantastic restaurants or dance some salsa until the wee hours of the morning. Cuba gets all the cred for the best cigars, but trust us, Puerto Rico is right up there with them! (and you can take them home without getting in trouble!)
