KLM Produces Cool Unboxing Video for New Boeing 787 Dreamliner

One of the world’s most popular airlines, KLM, has just “unboxed” its very first Boeing 787 Dreamliner for the world to see how truly awe-inspiring this aircraft really is.

“Unboxing” videos are very popular these days, especially on Youtube. They are produced by people or companies to showcase new tech gadgets, so why not unveil the coolest tech gadget ever in the exact same way? The 787’s real-life crew are the ones unpacking the plane. The pilots are seen entering the futuristic new cockpit and the cabin crew walks down aisles highlighting the plane features like 100% lay-flat business class seats, windows that can dim, and the extra-large overhead bins. You can check out the plane unpacking video below!

The Boeing Dreamliner 787 is one of the most economic as well as green planes in the world. The demand is extremely high at the moment and this is why most airlines have to wait multiple years to get the new planes as Boeing can’t keep up with the production demand. Boeing invested more than 32 billion dollars into the development of the long-range aircraft. It has a very fast cruising speed of of 596 mph and some of the lighter planes have a flying range of 8000-8500 nautical miles!

I have yet to fly on a Boeing dreamliner, but, I do have some other friends that have had the opportunity to take a trip on one of then and they said they felt much more comfortable in the spacious cabin. The extra touches like the personal large screen, USB plugs, etc., were greatly appreciated on a long trip.

The reason Dreamliners are so economic is that Boeing decided to use carbon fiber instead of aluminum to construct the bodies of the aircrafts which greatly reduces total weight, thus translating into less fuel used to travel the same distance.
